Paska, Pies and Maple Syrup Festival, Oh my! It's a lovely day!

today I am making pies and 3 batches of paska for our bake sale tomorrow. Yummy! I love baking and this is great because I don't have to eat it! I made a practice batch of paska on wednesday and it tasted great but it looked kind of funny. I think I have figured out how to make it rise more evenly so this time it will be better. Maybe I will post pictures of my paska. :) Also today is the Elmira Maple Syrup festival. I haven't been in a long time so it will be tons o fun. Hopefully this post works.... I have tried to get in contact with the blogger powers that be but no luck yet. Sigh.
